Where are you located?

We are located on 690 Eddy Street (Diagonally across from Hasbro ER on Eddy St), Providence, RI 02903 (MAP LINK). Our office is on the ground floor.

Are procedures performed as outpatient basis?

Vast majority of cases are performed as either outpatient or as 23 hour observation admission basis.

Where are the procedures performed?

Some procedures such as endovenous laser ablation of varicose veins are treated right in the office. Others procedures are performed in the interventional radiology suite at Rhode Island and Miriam Hospitals.

Do the procedures require general anesthesia?

Almost all cases are performed under what is known as conscious sedation and do not require general anesthesia.

Does my insurance cover interventional procedures?

Almost all procedures are covered by most insurances.

What are your office hours?

We are open Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM, but can be reached 24 hours a day for emergencies.

What is Interventional Radiology?

Interventional Radiology is a medical subspecialty in which interventional radiologists treat patients with variety of medical problems in a minimally invasive manner using imaging guidance, such as x-rays, ultrasound, and CT scan. Almost all cases are performed without general anesthesia. IR training is certified by American Board of Medical Subspecialties.

Who are Interventional Radiologists?

Interventional radiologists (IR) are board certified medical doctors with training in diagnostic radiology with subspecialty training in interventional radiology.
